Cinnamon Dolce Syrup

Cinnamon Dolce Syrup cost about $40-50. Aaron decided to make his own at home after finding a recipe. Add 2 teaspoons of this into hot apple cider, top with whip cream and caramel drizzle and you’ve got yourself a homemade Caramel Apple Spice.

Cinnamon Dolce Syrup

Much like the Starbucks version, but better

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cinnamon sticks crushed

Method
 

  1. Bring the water, sugar, and brown sugar to a boil in a saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring frequently
  2. Reduce heat and add vanilla and cinnamon sticks
  3. Simmer for 10 minutes, continuing to stir to prevent burning
  4. Pour the syrup with the cinnamon sticks into a container to cool
  5. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes
  6. Pour the syrup into a jar through a strainer to catch the cinnamon sticks
  7. Store it in the refrigerator for up to a couple months
  8. Stir in 2 teaspoons into your drink - like a hot apple cider
