Garlic Herbed Butter
A delicious butter spread for warm bread, vegetables, grilled steaks and more. So easy to make.
Ingredients
- 2 sticks 1/2 lb unsalted butter
- 1 clove fresh garlic sliced (minced if you don't have a food processor)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp fresh ground pepper
- 1 T fresh or bottled lemon juice
- 1 small bunch chopped fresh parsley
- 7-10 chive blades or green onions chopped/minced
- 1 small sprig rosemary minced
- Or other fresh herbs of choice, i.e. basil, dill, thyme, oregano, etc.
Instructions
- Cut up 2 sticks up butter and let sit in bowl of food processor until room temp. Add garlic, salt, pepper and lemon juice.
- When room temp, process until smooth and fully blended.
- Remove from processor bowl to small mixing bowl. Use rubber scraper to blend in herbs until thoroughly mixed.
- Put in small tub to cool. Alternately, bowl with finished butter in the fridge until semi hardened. Scoop out onto a sheet of plastic wrap and roll up, shaping into a roll. Let chill.
