Stuffed (and Unstuffed) Peppers
A decades-long family favorite recipe that we’ve been making from the Saxon cookbook.
Stuffed Cabbage Stew
Cinnamon Dolce Syrup
Irish corned beef, cabbage & potatoes
Never cared much for the corned beef and cabbage in restaurants, so I thought I’d take a stab at it.
Panella (No Knead Bread)
2-Hours or Less Buttercrust Bread
Leek & Potato Soup
Royal Icing for Decorating Cookies & Cakes
Chocolate Buttercrunch
Pasta e Fagioli Soup
OMG Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookies
I found this recipe in the New York Times, which had gone through hundreds of iterations (they said) to come up with the perfect CC cookie. These really are perfect. You’ve got to follow these directions EXACTLY to get the best results.
Bailey’s Irish Creme Cake
I found a version of this recipe that turned out pretty good, but thought I could improve on it. So I combined a bunch of other recipes I have to come up with this one. This cake is dessert heaven.
Banana (Nut – if you want) Bread
Fun to do with kids because it’s a single-bowl recipe that doesn’t require a mixer and the results are really good!
Best Ever Bruschetta
This is a nearly ingredient-for-ingredient recipe I found online for an unbelievably flavorful bruschetta. The title is not a lie — it is the “Best Ever.” 🙂 Be sure to use heirloom tomatoes for the best outcome, and if you like a fresher-tasting bruschetta, toss in a handful of chopped parsley.
